I've always been terrible at writing about my thoughts, but this is probably one of my favourite ships of all time. I started getting into it about 4 years ago now and it was at such a point in my life that meant i got very attached to it. I always liked the soulmate trope and the idea of two characters who had cards that inevitably lead them to eachother seemed quite romantic, especially when it lead to one of the characters deaths (spoilers whoops). Additionally i'm quite into physics so the names photon and tachyon were cool to me. I love imagining their postcanon relationship, with them both learning to heal. Overall they were a convergence of most things I love in a ship. :P I've been through most of the fics with their tag on ao3 so maybe i should start writing my own... but i'm terrible at writing ahhhh. I think my biggest pet peeve when it comes to the ship is when Kaito is drawn taller than Mizael, i always thought he was shorter idk

The two are clearly designed to contrast eachother, Mizaels natural wings in his barian form and the wing in his hair in his human form contrast with Kaitos mechanical wings that Orbital 7 becomes, The yellow and blue being pretty contrasting colours, as well as the black and white of the dragons.
